Shinichiro Inui was born in Osaka in 1983, he spent his childhood obsessed with drawing because he was not good at expressing his intentions with words. He was selected for the first art competition he participated in and experienced an exhibition at the Kyoto Museum of Culture. From there, his career as a contemporary artist began. He moved to the United States at the age of 18 and enrolled in the art department at the University of Oregon. After obtaining his BFA, he returned to his roots in Japan in order to solidify his foundation as a contemporary artist.

Using a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, collage, three-dimensional sculpture, photography, video, and even fashion tools, he poses questions about modern society. Currently, in addition to holding exhibitions in Japan, he is also active both domestically and internationally, such as participating in overseas art fairs.
